A`Christmas Day meditation...

I wake up on this bright, cold Christmas morning and alas!!!
It's Christmas day!!! The long awaited day!! Yaaaaaaaay!!

Welll.. the holiday yesterday already put me in the mood, despite the feeling I had since last week, not exactly feeling like I was close to Christmas day yet*sighs*

So I pick up my phone to see if my family or friends are in the mood to celebrate...and yaaaaay i get tons of messages wishing me a very merry Christmas!!! Woww...cards and hampers by the door... Awwwww!!

Walking back to bed, i just drop my phone and start meditating... "you know it's really not about the public holidays...or the outings…or even the gifts!! It's actually about LOVE!! U can't help but feel loved not just today , but this season!

Think about the reason for all this celebrations...Christ!! He loved you unconditionally soooo much that He gave up his life to save you!! Who does that??? Who can ever??? Now that gives you more than a million reasons to celebrate His birth this season!!!"

Now coming outta meditation...to whoever reads this... I know some people out there don't exactly have family or friends around to celebrate with...maybe, even lost someone dear days ago or weeks back, got heartbroken, lost a job, survived an accident….and the list goes on!

But if you allow me indulge you...just stop and think...Despite all that's happened, you still woke up today (By His grace& LOVE), you are alive& breathing(By His grace& LOVE), you can actually read this...yeah?

Now there's no reason...absolutely none that sounds good enough not to celebrate this season!!
I know it aint easy to feel excited , especially if you are feeling down or depressed when this season is about love& hmmmm….people around you are looking all happy…but you should remind yourself that YOU are actually the reason for this season!!! Yesssss!! 
Christ was born for a reason…YOU!

Don’t forget in a hurry that God sent Him to earth for….YOU!....Soooo whether you like it or not.. let God show you His undescribable love this season.. let Him give you strength as you feel sad, let Him fill your loneliness with His love which is ALL you need, because you are special to Him regardless of whatever anyone thinks or feels about you!!Trust me!!*big wide smile*

Christmas is not about getting things and attention from others, but about receiving life and love from God. It’s not found in just sensual indulgence but in heavenly inspiration! Christmas…as far as am concerned…is meant to be a spiritual experience.

So, as you make plans for Christmas day...or this season, be sure to include God!! Honoring Christ is what the day is all about.

In the spirit of this beautiful season, I wish you a very very merry Christmas and a wonderful holiday!!

So get your shoes on...cos we have to keep running that race so you better be ready *wink*

Is It Your Attitude or Your True Personality?

Is there really a difference between one's personality and one's attitude?? Welll..to be honest I think there's quite a difference between the two. Thinking about it now...there are hot-tempered peeps who don't surprise you with their temper so when they blow up..at least it's something you already expect and you waive it off knowing that's how they are(their personality)!...But the quick-tempered peeps could be a little different because the outburst just comes from nowhere right in the middle of a discussion..leaving u shocked and speechless like a statue(their attitude)!!LOL!*smh* Funny enough,I think everyone's attitude could differ at anytime... but what makes the difference is what makes you upset..or suddenly angry ,how you express your anger/how often..and of course..to whom!(which is the reason why personality and attitude become confusing). Whose Reward Are You Really Seeking?

Some call it charity..Some call it philanthropy and Some simply call it helping the poor/less privileged. Now what gives me concern about this act recently is the fact that this act has become something that the giver feels justified in doing,only after he has publicised his generosity or the extent of his largesse! With the desire to assist in the welfare of the less privileged or donate generously to the needy, why is it so important to call a photographer,take pictures,get on social media platforms and post each picture showing how you presented cartons of drinks,food or beverages so the whole world can see you as the ever-generous giver or the certified philanthropist!*smh* What really changed from the days when the giver is open handed and the whole world doesnt have to know about his every act of benevolence?
